I have an existing setup that I want to expand. I can easily add a few rows under Patches and everything is fine, it keeps the fixtures where they are relative to position 0,0 but here is the problem: Every layer that has a "map" effect gets scaled and all the map effects no longer line up...

Is there is way to copy a layer to another effect? Often I'll add a light and specific layers to control it but then need to copy these layers to other existing effects. Once I understood how to define the range of output on a DMX channel (1-255) I was able to make my own panel with all the channels I needed and it worked.
