DMX and Madrix

Hello,
i recently got madrix for dmx.
i played with it and did some shows and noticed that there is no way to keep the dmx level across storages for the submaster, unless i over looked something.
for live shows its best when you turn down a submaster to open a new effect that that affect is also turned down, not on the last submaster level.
if this is currently not posible could u make a feature that you can activate this for dmx?

Thanks in advance,
Matthieu

Hello Matthieu,
Welcome to the MADRIX forum.
.
You are right, the Storage Place Submaster in MADRIX is assigend to each Storage Place and also independently from all other Storage Places in MADRIX.
.
Can you please explain a bit more what you would like to do with such a kind of submaster?
Maybe it is possible to use the Main Output Master for this task?
.
I am looking forward to hearing from you!

guertler,
i use madrix to controll a backwall with 1000 pixels in a theater show.
i would like to be able to switch storages from one side and keep the level of the storage the same as the previous one, that way i can use the right side storage to use as a background color, and switch the left side for efects over the other color.
also i use a the color filter to change colors.
but now it switches to what ever the last setting was of the submaster.
so if i have a lowlight scene, it will be to much, and the other way around.
i want to be able to have the 2 side submaster each on a dmx fader so i can have to intensity under my hands if you understand?
if i use the master i can not easely do this.

Hi Matthieu,

we working now on the submaster for left and right side. This feature will be avaiable with MADRIX 3.5

@Matthieu

In the mean time, maybe you can set the cross-fader to 75% when you know the next effect is to bright. You could just not cross-fade all the way, it would be a way to 'cheat'.
