Madrix Sequencer?

Hello,
I'm trying to program a light show to a song for pre-recorded playback of the audio/visual show. This seems like a very basic thing- like a simple sequencer would work well. Does anyone know how to do this with Madrix or why Madrix doesn't have a sequencer built into their software? I've heard of people using Light o Rama but that seems rather primitive... anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Hello Kaleb,

It is also possible to create a synced light show to a music track with MADRIX. MADRIX can receive different time codes like MIDI Time Code (MTC), Art-Net Time Code or SMPTE.
That means the used audio player must also send a time code to MADRIX, MADRIX will interprete the received time code and triggers the cue list.
So you need to create first your desired light effects in MADRIX. After you have create the effects you add the effects to the Cue List. In the Cue List you set the desired Time Code for every entry of the list. In the last step you need to activate the desired time code source. Now when MADRIX receives a valid time code it will activate the coressponding cue of the Cue List.
Under the following links you can learn more about time code in MADRIX:

Ok I'll try this method. Is Madrix planning on building in a sequencer anytime soon?
