GND together with V-

Dear all I have a question for wiring Luna's DMX outputs, mainly the XLR GND to V- of a power supply.
Generally in company I work in, I learned that its good to wire each GND to a V-, but I just had to ask if its a good practice or not? Under the text you can see how we generally wire DMX out with V- from a Power Supply.

So, is it a good practice to do GND to V-, or it totally doesn't affect anything?
Is the GND from Luna's output enough and doesn't require additional grounding trough the rest of the line?

Hi Dr.,

Power and data supply should be treated separately. The power supply of the LUNA already includes the PE connection. Could you please further elaborate on the sent image?

Thank you for your reply.
I included a new picture of the specified DMX buffer -> https://prnt.sc/zq50s5
This is a buffer that repeats DMX signal across the line, hope this image explains it in more detail.

Hi Dragan,

Since we do not know the electrical circuit of the DMX Buffer, it is difficult to make a concrete statement. Please contact the manufacturer of the DMX buffer on that regard. Sorry!
