Sound Output

Hi folks,

will there be a chance that I can have sound output from Videos?
Can't be that complicated to implement :)

We have a 2 hours Countdown with Audio Samples every 30 minutes and
Music for the last 2 minutes.
Perfect would be Stereo - oder Mono Output with from Madrix self
generated SMPTE Timecode on the 2nd Channel.

What do you say?
Any Chance to get this in the next Time?

By the way:
DMX Control is very lazy.
With ArtNet it's much better.

Will there be an Official Fixture for MALighting GrandMA2 in the future?
At the moment I use the fixture from AlexP - slightly modified - to fit my preferences in the GMA 2.
When you need a tester for the fixture feel free to contact me..

Hi Olli,

Thanks for your feedback!
But unfortunately I must say that there isn't a chance to see this in the next time. I can't even tell if it will ever be implemented. Chances are unlikely. And please let me tell you that it is complicated to implement. Please trust me on this one!

And could you please tell us more about DMX control is lazy and Art-Net is better. What exactly do you mean?

It is hard to say if there will be an official grandMA 2 fixture. So far we have no access to a grandMA 2.
Would you like to create one? We could also publish your fixture on the website. Please let us know!

Thanks again! I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards, Martin

Hi Martin,

I know that it's not that easy to implement this feature.
Was just kidding.

In the moment we play the Video from a DVD Player and capture the Signal with a seperate Capture card. Unfortunately we aren't able to use a Laptop instead of a Tower PC because of the capture card.

When I'm using a USB DMX interface for DMX IN i have a little delay.
Haven't measured it - but I think it's more than a quarter to half a second.
With Artnet Input it's much better.

AlexP - here created a fixture. It's available on MA-Share.net
I just changed a few things - to fit my workflow.
Currently our tour is still running and on every Tourdate I do small changes... So after the tour i'll upload my finished fixture there.

U can have a look there - No need to register for Downloading the fixture.
There is also an onPC Version from MA Lighting. So you can have a look at the fixture.
