strorageplace description rollover speach bubble description

im getting this thing on my latest project which might happen on other projects but i might just not have noticed it before.
the description you can write for each storage place is shown along with a snapshot of the effect when you rollover the storage place .
this seem to work for a while but then suddenly it doesnt and all the descriptions just say color even though the snapshot is still there .
The descriptions are still there in the storage place just not in the speach bubble .they seem to come back if i click on each storage place one by one .
i noticed this because my project involves a detailed description of what is going on in each place when normally in my previous projects the snapshot is enough to know what the effect is going to do .
i am now testing this while writing this post and i think i have established that minimising madrix causes it to happen .
