gray with d2801 ledwalker

Hello,
I am French and uses MADRIX with ws2801 pixel dmx controller and d2801 ledwalker from home. My problem is that I do not know or sets the level of gray. Sue my 170 pixel matrix, the first well and the latter are white orange.
