Layer Copy/Naming

Post by Bob »

Is there is way to copy a layer to another effect? Often I'll add a light and specific layers to control it but then need to copy these layers to other existing effects.

Currently only way is to manually write down the parameters and make a new layer by hand.

Also, it would be extremely helpful to be able to name layers so I could easily tell what they were doing.

Update: The changing of layer names will also be possible in version 2.8 !!

Test it now in the Beta version with a doubleclick on the layername!

I can't wait to design some new effects with 2.8.
