3D file types

Post by AlvinWilliams »

Hello everyone. I'm a relatively novice Madrix user so apologies if my query is easily resolved. I don’t know which 3D file types are accepted in Madrix, can someone please tell me? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello AlvinWilliams,
Welcome to the MADRIX forum.

If you want to import 3D objects in MADRIX, you will need to slice the 3D object and import it as sliced image respectively sliced video. The sliceses are ordered side by side or one below the other.

That means every slice of the image will cover one Z-Layer in MADRIX. More about the sliced images in MADRIX 5 you can learn under the following link:

Please scroll down to the section: "Image Import Settings".
